Manchester United boosted their chances of finishing in the top four after overcoming adverse weather conditions and themselves to defeat Leeds United 4-2 on Sunday. United  initially did well in the first-half to quieten a raucous Elland Road as headers from  Harry Maguire  and  Bruno Fernandes  saw them go in at the break two goals to the good. However, on a puddle laden pitch, United once again crumbled following the restart and two goals in 24 seconds from Rodrigo and Raphina levelled proceedings. It looked as though United would be lucky to leave Yorkshire with a point but two inspired changes from Ralf Rangnick turned the game back in their favour.

 Manchester United head to Elland Road this afternoon as they continue their race for the top four in the Premier League. United take on Leeds later today, and will be looking to make it back-to-back wins as they look to secure the final remaining Champions League place this season With the top three looking already virtually sewn up, United find themselves in a battle to claim fourth, with the race having taken another twist on Saturday after Tottenham beat Manchester City.

United finally ended their three-game winless run on Tuesday with a 2-0 defeat of Brighton and now will be hoping to build upon it when they travel to Yorkshire on Sunday to face their fierce rivals.

 Cometh the hour, cometh the man, and Tottenham Hotspur’s talisman, Harry Kane, was in exactly the right place at the right time to nod home a 95th-minute winner at Manchester City.  With time running out at the Etihad Stadium, it appeared that Tottenham Hotspur were going to win all three points against Manchester City. The North Londoners had been good value for their victory, with Harry Kane also having a goal ruled out for offside. However, an inexplicable handball gave City a lifeline.

 It looked for all the world like Chelsea were going to drop points again and fall further behind in the Premier League title race. Crystal Palace had proved to be a stubborn opponent for virtually the entire game, but a lack of concentration from a simple ball in saw the Blues earn all three points. The game was teetering towards full time when a cross was swung in more in hope that with intent.

 Former Manchester United midfielder Luke Chadwick has weighed in on the current speculation surrounding Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo. Still, it’s clear that United themselves are not the force they were when Ronaldo was at the club under Sir Alex Ferguson, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if he considered moving on. The likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Roma have been linked with Ronaldo in a report from the Sun, who suggest he’s unsettled in Manchester at the moment.
